Arjun Kapoor was recently seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and is being appreciated for his character of Danger Lanka. Recently, in an interview, the actor opened up about PR in Bollywood and shared his thoughts on how it has evolved the industry’s approach. The actor also talked about how Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t ‘overtly engage’ in PR and still excels in managing his public image.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Arjun Kapoor was asked about the evolving role of PR in the industry in keeping up with changing times. The actor said that PR plays an important role in making sure that people remember you and your work. He also said that it is also necessary as the attention span of today’s audience has drastically decreased. “I feel like an old man saying this, but it’s important. People have a lot going on, and it’s easy for them to forget about a film unless they’re reminded," he said.

The actor further added that in today’s world of social media and its influence where trends are constantly changing, it’s necessary to ensure that people know and are aware of your latest work.

Arjun Kapoor on Ranbir Kapoor’s PR game

In the same conversation, Arjun Kapoor also mentioned that Ranbir Kapoor excels in managing his public image without the need for overt PR stunts. According to him, Ranbir’s subtle approach has allowed him to maintain a strong fan following. “I think there’s an anomaly to that, and that’s Ranbir (Kapoor). He does it really well. He’s someone who doesn’t overtly engage," he said.

Arjun then called himself a “newcomer" to the PR game and also said that if he is engaging authentically by sharing his true feelings but without PR, people might forget about him. However, he wants to leave a lasting impression.
