It is a heartbreaking day for actor Arjun Kapoor. When the entire country is celebrating the colourful festival of Holi, Arjun Kapoor is loathing the day, and the reason is his mother. March 25 marks the death anniversary of his mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor. The Ishaqzaade star penned a heartfelt note and shared a throwback picture with his mother.

Actor Arjun Kapoor is feeling extremely unhappy as he shared a heartfelt post for his mother. He also expressed that he hates the day and the feeling, though it has been 12 years since his mother passed away. He also felt sad over not being able to see or hear his mother anymore.

Taking to Instagram, he shared, “They say time flies, it doesn’t… It’s been 12 years & still I hate this day I hate this feeling I hate the fact that I’m running out of pictures with U Maa… I hate not being able to say the word Mom or Maa anymore… I hate not seeing Mom flash on my phone… I hate that u were taken away from us."

In the picture, Arjun is standing beside his mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, along with his younger sister, Anshula Kapoor. Arjun also wished things were different so that he could spend more time with his mother.

“I miss u I wish u had never left… things would be different I would be different maybe I would have smiled a lot more and a lot more easily… smile wherever u are Maa cause without u around I always find it tough to smile or even live,” Arjun concluded the social media post.

The Instagram post was showered with hearts and comments to console Arjun on this unfortunate day. His Ishaqzaade co-star Parineeti Chopra also hopped into the comment section and wrote, “Love you baba always with you”.

Meanwhile, Arjun is currently gearing up to star in a villainous role in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
