Arjun Kapoor made his big Bollywood debut with Ishaqzaade in 2012. The film, directed by Habib Faisal, was backed by Aditya Chopra's production house Yash Raj Films. For 12 years, Arjun has been associated with YRF's talent management agency. However, the actor has now reportedly decided to part ways with the firm. A Bollywood Hungama report suggests the actor and Aditya's YRF amicably ended their association.
The entertainment portal stated that Arjun Kapoor and Yash Raj Filsm parted ways amicably. The actor reportedly wants to explore new avenues and that's the reason he took this big decision.
"He and YRF’s head honcho Aditya Chopra continue to hold each other in high regard and will surely collaborate in future when the right opportunity comes along," a source told the portal. After parting ways with Yash Raj Films, Arjun will now be managed by Matrix, which is co-founded by Reshma Shetty.
The talent management agency also handles Bollywood celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Ram Charan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Vicky Kaushal, Karisma Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda and Athiya Shetty. The buzz is that Arjun has also got a new PR team for himself.
Meanwhile, Singham Again is one of Arjun Kapoor's biggest projects this year. The actor will be seen playing the role of a deadly villain in filmmaker Rohit Shetty's cop film. The star cast of the movie includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone. Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will reprise their characters of Sangram Bhalerao and Veer Sooryavanshi.
The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15, 2024. It will clash with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa 2 at the box office. Which film are you excited to watch on the big screen? Tweet @ottplayapp and let us know on X.
