Arjun Kapoor gets a thumbs up from Tovino Thomas for his performance in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar

Tovino Thomas' Kala also released on Amazon Prime Video recently.

Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas, who is in news for his latest movie Kala’s release on Amazon Prime Video, has given thumbs up to Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. He is especially impressed with Arjun’s performance in the film and went to the extent of calling it one of his best performances till date.

The actor shared an Instagram story with the poster of Arjun and Parineeti from Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. “Thoroughly enjoyed watching #SandeepAurPinkyFaraar. Phenomenal performance by both @arjunkapoor and @parineetichopra. Easily one of your best bro,” he wrote in the caption.

The Dibakar Banerjee directorial has also been lauded by the audiences and critics since its release. The film has especially managed to highlight male toxicity, patriarchal society and gender roles beautifully. Parineeti played the role of Sandeep aka Sandy who is an ambitious professional in the corporate world. She meets Pinky aka Arjun Kapoor who is just looking to get his job back as a police constable. However, destiny keeps them bound together, bringing forth the true colours of every character.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar also stars Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Jaideep Ahlawat in important roles. The movie, produced under the banner of Yash raj Films, released in theatres before streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar marked Arjun and Parineeti’s third collaboration after Ishaqzaade and Namastey England. The actors had both made their acting debut in YRF’s Ishaqzaade back in 2012. Meanwhile, Tovino will also be seen in movies like Kurup, Minnal Murali, Kaanekkaane, Vazhakku, Naaradan and Thallumala soon.
