Before premiering on AppleTV+, the action-thriller will have a theatrical release first in 2024
Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa from Argylle
Pop-star Dua Lipa is all set to return to acting with Argylle, that too with Henry Cavill. Previously the action-thriller was announced to be released on AppleTV+, but the date was not unveiled. On December 12, Dua revealed that the film is coming soon on February 2, 2024 in theatres first.
Argylle story
Elly, a shy writer who loves making up spy stories, never leaves her house. But suddenly, her stories become real! Someone is doing the bad things she wrote about, and they might even want to hurt her. A mysterious guy named Aiden appears and says he's there to help, but Elly is not sure if she can trust him. Now, Elly and her cat Alfie are thrown into a dangerous world where things aren't always what they seem.

The two-minutes-forty-seconds trailer starts with Henry Cavill as agent Argylle, is on a mission when he is surrounded by a group of spies. One of the spies is played by the ‘New Rules’ singer. It turns out that Elly, the writer of the book, has actually written about these real-life stories, before they even showed up.
Dua Lipa's debut
Dua Lipa made her debut in acting with Barbie, where she played the role of a Mermaid Barbie. Argylle is also the second film of Lipa with John Cena, after Barbie. Cena portrayed the role of Mermaid Ken.
Argylle release date
Argylle is slated to release on February 2, 2024 in the theatres, and later will be dropped on AppleTV+ OTT platform.
