Actor-turned-director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan's latest social drama film, Are You Okay Baby, which stars Samuthirakani and Abhirami in leading roles, is all set to make its OTT debut on aha, starting October 31.

Aha took to its social media handle to share the announcement, with the caption, “The critically acclaimed intense drama of the year, Are You Okay Baby, will premiere on October 31st... Don't miss the chance to watch it on Aha.”

Are You Okay Baby’s storyline

The social drama revolves around the lives of a couple, played by Samuthirakani and Abhirami, who encounter a life-altering situation when they receive a phone call from Lakshmy Ramakrishnan's show. They find out on the call that someone is seeking custody of their adopted child. The plot unfolds from there: can the couple retain custody of their child?

Cast and crew of Are You Okay Baby

Apart from Samuthirakani and Abhirami, the film also stars Mullai Arasi, Mysskin, Murugaa Ashok, Aadukalam Naren, Anupama Kumar, Pavel Navageethan, Robo Shankar, Vinodhini, and Lakshmy Ramakrishnan. The film's music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, with Krishna Sekhar handling the cinematography and CS Prem Kumar overseeing the editing.

Abhirami’s upcoming releases

Abhirami is gearing up for the release of her Malayalam court thriller, Garudan , which also stars Suresh Gopi and Biju Menon. The film is helmed by Arun Varma and the screenplay is written by acclaimed writer Midhun Manuel Thomas. The film is slated to be released in theatres on November 3.

Samuthirakani’s upcoming projects

The Visaranai star will be seen next in Kamal Haasan’s eagerly awaited film Indian 2 , which is directed by S Shankar. He will also be seen in Shankar’s Telugu film Game Changer, which stars Ram Charan. His last film as a director, the Telugu film Bro, starring Sai Dharam Tej and Pawan Kalyan, released in theatres on July 28.
