His breakup from Debleena Dutt, and then the rumours regarding his affair with Bibriti Chatterjee were widely reported in the media. Some reports suggested that they are back together again but they kept silent on their relationships.

Tathagata recently posted some photos on his Instagram. in one of the photos, there is a silhouette of a woman. These photos were taken in light and shade and the face is unclear. People think it is Bibriti. Tathagata wrote in the caption, “Bishad...Sindhu…”. There is no concrete evidence that the woman is Bibriti, but the netizens speculated so. Many people think that Bibriti is in a live-in relationship with Tathagata, and these pictures prove that.

Earlier, in an interview, Bibriti said that Tathagata is the biggest ‘supporter of her life’. “He will be with me even if I commit any mistake. I am like his cheerleader who holds pom poms in her two hands.” In fact, speculations over Tathagata and Bibriti’s breakup were also rife. Nonoby knew if that was true. Bibriti told the media that since she did not comment anything about their relationship, she wouldn’t comment on their breakup. “I can say only one thing. Let him do whatever he wants to, I am not at all concerned,” she said.

Debleena Dutta and Tathagata were married in 2012. They had a happy family with several pets. However, they broke up at the end of 2021. It was heard that Tathagata’s relationship with Bibriti was the reason behind the split. Bibriti also worked in the film Bhotbhoti directed by Tathagata.
