According to a report by Page Six, Witherspoon’s representative revealed the truth about the Sweet Home Alabama actress and Kevin Costner’s dating rumors and said, “This story is completely fabricated and not true.”

For the unversed, the Legally Blonde actress who is in her late forties was linked to the 68-year-old Yellowstone star recently and fans were puzzled when they witnessed the social media abuzz with the alleged new romance brewing in the entertainment industry.

How did a possible work collab turn into a possible romance?

Costner showed interest in collaborating with Witherspoon on the professional front and the duo also reportedly hit it off as they shared their potential projects. According to an insider report in Newidea, Costner wanted to work with the iconic actress for a long time.

“Kevin’s had his eye on Reese ever since she won her Oscar, but he didn’t count on finding her absolutely charming as hell,” an inside source had revealed.

The Academy-award winner announced her divorce earlier this year from her husband of 12 years marriage, Jim Toth. The ex-couple shares an 11-year-old son, Tennessee.
