The first child for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh is reportedly on the way. The dimpled star is reportedly in her second trimester of pregnancy, according to a source close to the actor, who revealed it to The Week.
There were rumours over the weekend that Deepika was disguising her belly under a shimmering saree at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) red carpet, leading many to speculate that she might be pregnant. Sabyasachi Mukherjee designed the actor's couture saree and accessories.

Meanwhile, at Sunday's BAFTA presentation, Deepika handed filmmaker Jonathan Glazer an award for best picture, not in the English language category.
After dating for a few years, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot over five years ago. In November 2018, they entered marital bliss at an intimate ceremony in Italy. They first met while filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic drama Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. They went on to star in Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani. The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Belgium last November.
Deepika recently responded, "Absolutely," when asked if she intends to have a family of her own, during an interview with Vogue Singapore. She stated that they both adore kids, and they eagerly anticipate the day when they can start a family of their own. The actor also added, "My family keeps me grounded, and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children."
The actor's most recent film appearance was in Fighter an action flick starring Hrithik Roshan. Her forthcoming films include Singham Again and Kalki 2898 AD. In the Rohit Shetty film, Deepika and Ranveer will be reuniting on the big screen after their stint in Kabir Khan's '83, where they played the real-life couple, Kapil Dev and his wife, Romi.
