Ardham Ayinda Arun Kumar trailer: Harshith Reddy, Ananya Sharma’s tale captures a small town boy’s tryst with corporate life

Harshith Reddy has been one of the most promising finds of the Telugu digital space in the recent years. If Mail was an introduction of what his capabilities were, shows like Loser 2, Tharagathi Gadhi Daati confirmed that he’s here to stay for long. He’s back in a new show, a corporate drama titled Ardham Ayinda Arun Kumar, where he co-stars 30 Weds 21 fame Ananya Sharma, Tejaswi Madivada.

Ardham Ayinda Arun Kumar is all set to arrive on aha this June 30. The web series is directed by The Baker and the Beauty, Amaram Akhilam fame Jonathan Edwards. Vasu Inturi also plays a crucial role. While the show hogged the limelight for its teaser recently, the trailer was launched by Balagam star Priyadarshi amidst the cast, crew at an event in Hyderabad today.

The trailer introduces us to the life of a small-town boy Arun Kumar, who despite his comfy existence in his village, wishes to migrate to Hyderabad and experience corporate life. He’s appointed as an intern in a firm where he’s expected to do odd jobs - from serving tea to handling presentations, so much that an employee mistakes him to be an office boy.

Arun gradually falls in love with a girl in the office, the latter finds his talk ‘cute’ and romance blossoms. Just when the relationship seems to be progressing well, he is smitten by his team leader, a practical modern-day woman with whom he has a fling. It takes a while for the youngster to have clarity about his love life, make the right choices. Is there a happy ending for the 20s something boy?

The show is the official remake of Arré Studio's Official Chukyagiri and the makers assure that the adaptation boasts fresh perspectives to the corporate drama. Ardham Ayinda Arun Kumar is produced by Arré Studio and Laughing Cow Productions. Niyati Merchant, Arré Studio’s co-founder, Priyadarshi, Vaasudev Koppineni, Content and Non-subs revenue head at aha, expressed confidence about the show’s prospects.
