Arbaaz Khan on Salman Khan's safety after Baba Siddique’s murder: 'Everyone is worried'

Arbaaz Khan spoke for the first time about Baba Siddique's murder, and shared an update on their efforts to keep Salman Khan's safety after the incident.

After the shocking incident of Baba Siddique's murder, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is facing a tough time as he has been receiving threats from members of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. The senior NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister was a close friend of Khan and has been shot by the same gang that allegedly fired outside the actor's residence in Mumbai a few months back. Now, Arbaaz Khan, Salman's brother opened up about the family's well-being and also shared an update on Bhaijaan's safety.

Speaking to the media, Arbaaz Khan said that the entire family is worried. He told Zoom, “We are doing fine. I wouldn’t say that we are doing absolutely alright because there is a lot happening right now, in the family. Of course, everyone is worried.”

Further speaking about Salman Khan's safety, the actor mentioned that the family is collectively making efforts to protect him. “I wouldn’t say we are all okay right now but we are trying to do what we can do the best. We are ensuring that everybody, along with the government and the police, is making sure that things go the way they should, and, he’s (Salman) protected. Everyone is doing their best. We want to stay this way right no,” he added.

What happened with Baba Siddique?

In a shocking incident, former MLA and Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique was shot dead on October 12 by three assailants outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra. He was taken to Lilavati Hospital where doctors treated him but Baba Siddique succumbed to his injuries.

Besides his professional duties, Baba Siddique was famously known for reuniting the iconic duo of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan after their infamous 5-year feud. He made Shah Rukh sit next to Salman's father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, at his famous Iftaar party so they could talk out their fight and end it.
