Malaika Arora's father Anil Arora reportedly died by suicide. Following his untimely demise, Malaika's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan reached her parents' residence in Bandra.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora's father, Anil Arora, passed away. According to media reports, Malaika's dad reportedly died by suicide. It is being said that the actress' father jumped off the terrace of his Bandra residence on September 11, 2024. The incident reportedly happened around 9 am today. That said, the reason behind Malaika's father reportedly taking a drastic step is unknown. Following the incident, Malaika's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was among the first ones to reach her parents' residence.
A paparazzo shared a video of Arbaaz Khan arriving at her ex-wife Malaika Arora's parents' Bandra residence. While sharing the video on Instagram, the paparazzo mentioned, "Shocking incident as Malaika's father, Anil Arora, was found dead in his building. Arbaaz Khan was the first one to reach out to the family. The matter is still under investigation, and the cops are ascertaining the actual cause of the demise (sic)."
As per media reports, Malaika's father's mortal remains have been kept in Bhabha Hospital. On the other hand, Mumbai Police has reached her dad's residence in Bandra for investigation. After the news of Anil Arora's demise broke on social media, netizens prayed for his soul to rest in peace. Others prayed to God to give strength to Malaika's family.

"May his soul rest in peace. I'm sorry for the loss Malika Arora and your family May God give you strength during this difficult time (sic)," wrote one user, while another penned, "Om Shanti (sic)." One more user added, "rip (sic)."
Earlier, in an interview with Filmfare, Malaika Arora recalled she was only 11 when her parents Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp got divorced. The actress revealed she and her sister Amrita Arora were raised by their mother after her parents' divorce.
"I had a wonderful childhood, but it wasn't easy. In fact, in retrospect, the word I would use to describe it is tumultuous. But tough times teach you important lessons too," she said.
