Actor Arav is overjoyed about the opportunity to share screen space with Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar in the upcoming movie Vidaa Muyarchi. He shared a picture of himself along with Ajith, suggesting that it was a dream come true moment for him. "Took 20 years for this moment #Thala.. Persistence never fails.. Fanboy," he captioned the photo.

Arav shot to fame following his participation in the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil. Despite controversies stemming from his complex romance with popular contestant Oviya, he managed to gain more votes and win the top prize of the season.

Arav's film career, however, has yet to catch a big break. His solo movies Market Raja MBBS and Maruthi Nagar Police Station didn't really move the needle in his career. It remains to be seen will his role in Vidaa Muyarchi give him the much-needed boost to go to the next level in his career.

Vidaa Muyarchi is written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni of Thadam fame. The film went on the floor amid a lot of uncertainties as the director took longer than expected to finalise the script. The delay had caused a lot of concern among the fans of Ajith, adding pressure on the producers, Lyca Productions.

Ajith was last seen in Thunivu, which was directed by H. Vinoth. Despite mixed reviews, the film was considered a box office hit.
