Aranyak: Netflix releases character promos of Raveena Tandon, Ashutosh Rana, Parambrata Chatterjee. Watch here!

The web series marks the comeback of the yesteryear actor Raveena Tandon. The series, which also features Parambrata Chatterjee and Ashutosh Rana, releases on December 10 on Netflix

Raveena Tandon, who ruled our screens in the 90s, is making a comeback with the upcoming Netflix crime thriller Aranyak where she will be seen playing a cop SHO Kasturi in a fictitious town of Sironah in Himachal Pradesh. The series has left fans all excited and in awe after the trailer was released recently by the makers. To add to the excitement ahead of its release, they have now shared the character promos of Raveena Tandon.

The character promo shows Tandon juggling between her duties as a mother, wife and police officer who has taken a leave for a year to concentrate on her family. However, she ends up sneaking into her workplace after she learns about the case of rape and murder of a young girl. The official description reads: "Apna sabse bada case ya beti ka sabse bada exam, kya chunengi SHO Kasturi?"

The makers have also released the character promo of Ashutosh Rana. Rana plays the role of retired police officer Mahadev Dogra who loves his job. Raveena gets him back on one of the biggest and mysterious cases of the town as 'he is the only one who has seen the culprit'. The promo looks intriguing as he is heard saying, 'This time, the leopard will be my prey'. The makers have described his character stating, "Mahadev ji ko do hi cheezon ka shaukh hai, rassiyon ka phanda bandhna aur iss jungle ka sach janna."

The character promo of Parambrata Chatterjee is also out. Chatterjee plays the role of police officer Angad Malik who replaces Raveena Tandon as the SHO in Sironah in Himachal Pradesh. The promo opens with the scene of Malik hoping for a new beginning with his new posting but ends with a case of a missing complaint. Further investigation shows that the girl was raped, killed and then hung on a tree. The case only gets more twisted and he is seen ridiculing Mahadev, played by Rana when he says that the killer is a 'leopard'.

The promos have only added excitement to the already much-awaited and anticipated show. The action-packed thriller show is produced by Roy Kapur Films and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment. The project is helmed by Vinay Waikul and it releases on December 10 on Netflix.
