Aranmanai 4 gets release date, set to clash with Vishal and Hari’s Rathnam on April 26

Aranmanai 4, the upcoming Tamil film and the fourth instalment in the horror comedy film franchise Aranmanai, is set to release on April 26, the makers of the film announced on social media on Sunday for the occasion of Tamil New Year.
The film is directed by and stars Sundar C, along with Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna and others. With this, it is official that the horror film is set to clash at the box office with Vishal and Hari’s Rathnam, which is also scheduled to release on April 26.

Aranmanai 4 gets release date
A horror comedy drama, Aranmanai is part of the horror comedy franchise created by filmmaker Sundar C. The fourth part will release on April 26. Each part serves as a standalone film in the franchise.

Besides direction, he will also star in the film. The cast of Aranmanai 4 consists of known faces, including Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, K. S. Ravikumar, Jayaprakash, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, Rajendran and Singampuli.
The technical crew of Aranmanai 4 consists of music scored by Hiphop Tamizha. The film is shot by cinematographer E Krishnamurthy, with editing handled by Fenny Oliver. Gururaj is the art director and Brindha Master has choreographed.

With the first part released in 2014, Aranmanai franchise boasts some known faces in its cast. Sundar C, Hansika Motwani, Vinay Rai, and Andrea Jeremiah appeared in the first part, followed by Sundar C, Trisha and Siddharth in Aranmanai 2 in 2016. Aranmanai 3 (2021) featured Arya and Raashii Khanna.
The franchise story involves a family moving to a haunted palace only to be possessed by the existing spirits who have unresolved issues and come back for revenge. The trailer of the upcoming film was unveiled recently, revealing that Tamannaah plays Sundar C’s sister with the latter coming to the palace they were living in to solve the mystery behind his sister’s suicide.
