Aranmanai 3 which had Sundar C at the helm, was one of the much-awaited projects which Kollywood movie lovers were looking forward to in the recent times. The horror-comedy, which is the third installment in the popular Aranmanai franchise, had exhibitors and others in the film industry pinning high hopes on it to revive Tamil cinema after the slump in business owing to the second lockdown.

The film, which has Arya and Raashi Khanna playing the lead roles, hit the screens on October 14, as a Dussehra release. The movie featured a bevy of actors, including Vivekh, Andrea Jeremiah, Sampath, Manobala, Yogi Babu, Vela Ramamoorthy, Sakshi Agarwal and Nalini among others.

How did Aranmanai 3 garner good pre-release expectations?

The popularity of the franchise is so huge among all sections of Tamil movie-goers. The family audience lapped up both the installments of the movie which had released earlier and there has been good expectations riding on the third installment.

The presence of late legendary comedian Vivekh was another reason why many movie buffs were eagerly looking forward to the movie. Aranmanai 3 was his last film to have had a theatrical release.

When is Aranmanai 3 releasing online?

The movie will start streaming on Zee5 from November 12. The prequels of the movie, Aranmanai (streaming on Jio Cinema) and Aranmanai 2 (streaming on Jio Cinema, MX Player and Sun NXT), were released in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

Aranmanai 3 is Arya's third release this year, followed by Teddy (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar) and Sarpatta Parambarai (streaming on Amazon Prime Video). UK Senthil Kumar has cranked the camera for the movie which has music composed by C Sathya.
