Apurva balances intensity with entertainment
Talking about the track, director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat said in a statement that though the film is intense at its core, Apurva is a complete entertainer. The filmmaker was referring to the film's ability to create a beautiful romantic melody within an intense narrative. It has all the elements of a great narrative, including romance and action. The Diwali song skillfully braids the story of the film the night before Apurva's life is turned upside down.
While Vishal Mishra added that the Diwali song from Apurva is a celebration of love and new beginnings as it lightens one's life like Diwali, the composer really wants this song to hit home for everyone and become a love anthem.
The narrative of Apurva is about a regular girl who must do amazing things to keep herself alive. Some of India's most accomplished artists have collaborated on this grim drama, which takes place in the notoriously deadly region of Chambal. Tara Sutaria, Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa, and Rajpal Yadav are the film's starring actors.
