Apurva release date: When and where to watch Tara Sutaria’s crime thriller film

Tara Sutaria will make her OTT debut with the Nikhil Nagesh Bhat-directed film Apurva

Apurva - the highly anticipated crime drama film, starring Tara Sutaria - is all set to make its world premiere on November 15, on Disney+ Hotstar. Written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the movie also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa and Rajpal Yadav.

Tara Sutaria starrer Apurva’s plot

Set against the backdrop of Chambal, the film revolves around a girl named Apurva, who gets abducted by a gang of goons. Her pursuit to gain her freedom back forms the crux of the story. Known for her performance in television shows like The Suite life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie Tara is all set to make her mark in the digital space with her OTT debut with Apurva.

Tara made her Hindi film debut with Student of the Year 2 alongside Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff in 2019, and went on to do films such as Heropanti 2 and Ek Villain Returns.

Speaking about her role in the film, Tara said that Apurva has been the most challenging and rewarding experience for her with regard to performance, while it’s also starkly different from any role that she has played before. “The fierceness and power of this character is what drew me in from the beginning. This is the role I’ve longed for since I began my career,” the actress elaborated. The film is produced by Murad Khetani and Star Studios.
