Apharan’s new season is all set to release this week. The show, starring Arunoday Singh in the lead role, became a huge hit back in 2018. Now, he and Ekta Kapoor are back with a new season, that will stream on a new OTT platform. Here are the details…

When and where can you watch Apharan 2?

Apharan season 2 will be available on Voot. You can start streaming the show from March 18.

The switch from AltBalaji to Voot.

Apharan season 1 is available on AltBalaji and MX Player. The second season, however, will be streaming on Voot since AltBalaji is currently focused on Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp.

Ekta Kapoor backs the show this time too.

Despite Apharan season 2 not releasing on AltBalaji, Ekta has continued to back her home production. She has produced Apharan season 2 as well.

Arunoday Singh is back as Rudra Shrivastava.

Arunoday made his OTT debut with Apharan and the show became an instant hit. His cop character Rudra Shrivastava especially grabbed eyeballs when the series released.

New season promises more fun.

Apharan – Sabka Katega was a fun and dangerous ride. The second season promises to dive deeper into Rudra’s ‘jhand zindagi’ or at least that's what the trailer revealed. This time around, the villain also gets more dangerous since he is a wanted terrorist.

Who remains on the show?

Apart from Arunoday, Nidhi Singh (who plays his wife Ranjana Shrivastava) and Saanand Verma (her ex-boss and ex-lover Satyajeet Dubey) are also coming back to the series. Varun Badola, who was a part of Apharan season 1 might make a comeback in the second season but the news has not been confirmed yet.

Jeetendra makes a cameo.

Veteran actor and Ekta’s father Jeetendra will make a cameo in Apharan 2. The viewers got glimpses of him in the trailer revealed by the makers.

Who is unlikely to appear in Apharan 2?

Mahie Gill might not be back for Apharan season 2. Sanjay Batra will also not re-appear since his story ended with the first season.

What to expect from Apharan season 2?

Apharan 2 promises to be as mad as the first season, if not more. The music, dialogues and overall execution is still on point so expect to sit back and have fun with the series.
