Aparna Mulberry, Big Boss Malayalam contestant, to make her acting and singing debut

Big Boss Malayalam reality show has opened doors for many contestants to the world of cinema. Now the latest addition to that list is Aparna Mulberry, a spoken English tutor and social media influencer. She was a contestant in the fourth edition of Big Boss Malayalam and was popular for her spoken English tutorials on YouTube. Aparna spent most of her childhood in Kerala and is well-versed in Malayalam. She was living in France with her husband Amritha Sri, when called to Big Boss. After Big Boss, there was a considerable hike in her social media followers.

Now the latest news is that Aparna is all set to make her entry into Malayalam cinema. She will be debuting as an actress and singer in the film, helmed by EM Ashraf. Ashraf is a well-known writer and Journalist, currently working in the Malayalam channel Kairali TV. He has written biographies of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer and Sukumar Azhikode. The film is bankrolled by Mansoor Palloor under the banner of Sams Productions.

Dilsha Prasannan, who was the competitor of Aparna in season 4 is also making her debut through the upcoming film Oh! Cinderella. The teaser and first-look poster released hints that Dilsha would be playing a dancer’s role in the film. Dilsha had earlier shared the first look of Oh! Cinderella, which was lauded by her fellow contestants Riyas Salim and Jasmine M Moosa. Helmed by Renolze Rahman, the film features Anoop Menon in the lead role. Dilsha is the only female contestant to win an edition of Malayalam Big Boss.

Another former Big Boss contestant, waiting to make his debut in Malayalam film is Junaiz VP. According to rumours, the social media influencer is set to make his first appearance in a film, scripted by the actor Joju George.
