This is why Anushka Sharma & Ranveer Singh's love story didn't see a happy ending.
On Thursday, October 26, Karan Johar's well-liked chat show Koffee With Karan made a comeback with its eighth season. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were the first guests on Koffee With Karan 8. They talked extensively about their relationship on the show, covering everything from their romance to revealing exclusive videos of their marriage.
During the show, Ranveer also revealed that he had broken up following a long-term relationship before getting into a relationship with Deepika. If we go by the speculations by internet users, Ranveer was seeing Anushka Sharma during those days. When Anushka and Ranveer appeared together on season three of Koffee With Karan in 2011, there were rumors that they were dating. However, a video that shows Anushka telling Simi Garewal why she would never date Ranveer is now going viral on social media.
Anushka admitted to the chat show host and seasoned actor Simi Garewal in the now-viral video that she had never dated Ranveer. The actress said, “If you know Ranveer and me really well… if people get to know us really well, they realize that we’re very different people.”
"We have a very volatile relationship. Yeah, we can kill each other. I’m serious, I can take his head off, he can take mine off… If we ever had to be in a relationship, we would want two different things from a relationship. We see life in a very different way. He’s a very practical person, I’m completely impractical,” she added.
Anushka did add, though, that she thought Ranveer was 'attractive. "I like him, he's attractive and everything," she said to Simi. However, she doesn't think a relationship can be frivolous. "So, for me, if I happen to be with another man, he needs to calm me down. Otherwise, it would not be a good relationship.”
For the uninitiated, along with Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh made his big Bollywood debut with Band Baaja Baraat in 2010.
Later, on December 11, 2017, Anushka Sharma married cricket player Virat Kohli in a beautiful ceremony. Together, the couple has a daughter named Vamika. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, tied the knot with Deepika Padukone in 2018.
