After the untimely passing away of Rituraj Singh, the Anupama actress and his co-star Rupali Ganguly took to social media and posted an extremely emotional note about him

Just as when everyone was reeling with the news about the untimely passing away of the Dangal star Suhani Bhatnagar, there came another shocking news today morning in the form of the sudden departure of actor Rituraj Singh. The 59-year-old passed away due to cardiac arrest. The news of his sudden passing away really shocked everyone. Besides the many fans and followers of the actors, there was Rupali Ganguly who was his co-actor in Anupamaa, who took to social media to pen an emotional note about the late actor.

Rupali Ganguly wrote, “Dear Rituraj Sir, It was an honour to share screen space with you … like an enthusiastic student getting to learn her favorite subject from a teacher who has taught many others , I was overjoyed … You said you had seen my work and yet I wanted to prove to you that I could earn my place in the frame standing next to one of the legends of television whom I had watched growing up “.

She added that his all-knowing smile after their scenes and his words of encouragement were like a report card to her and that she was thrilled by his kind words. She even added that there was so much more to learn from him (whom she addressed as ‘Sir’).

And, while commenting on the pictures that she had posted (which had him in the uniform of the chef- the role that he was playing in Anupamaa), Rupali wrote, she was a bit late in sending the pictures which she had taken of him when he wore the chef cap and that she never thought that those would be put up as a remembrance….
