Anupamaa Written Update 25 August 2023: Dimpy REPENTS for dividing the Shah House, Romil joins hands with Paakhi

Will Anupamaa and Anuj Kapadia’s worst fear and nightmare about Adhik Mehta come true is what remains to be seen

The day starts off with everyone having assembled at the Shah House discussing Paakhi and Adhik’s relationship. Amidst all this, there enters Dimpy who is seemingly ‘profusely sweating’ as she is coming down the stairs from ‘her’ first floor house. When she enquires about the defunct electricity, Anupamaa tells her (sarcastically) that one has to pay the bill in order for the electricity to be retained. But, at this, Dimpy asks an extremely valid doubt, wherein she asks that, if the house is one, then, why have two meters. To which, Anupamaa, very categorically explains that, when the house was being reconstructed into a big one in order to accommodate all the children under one roof, at that time, they had installed two meters.

Hearing this, Dimpy, conveniently puts the blame on Baa and Anupamaa stating that it must have been their idea to instal two meters because they like to torture Dimpy. At this, Vanraj Shah tells Dimpy that, when it was done, her husband Samar was party to it and that he is extremely aware that there are two meters at the Shah House. At this, Anupamaa gets up from her seat and asks Dimpy as to whose idea was it to get the Shah House divided into two halves! Not just this, she also gives standing instructions to Dimpy to pay their own bills and not to be dependent on the other family members for their duties.

Meanwhile, at the Kapadia House, there is an unbelievable bond of brotherhood that develops between Paakhi and Romil. Seeing this from a distance, Anupamaa feels extremely gratified. When being asked by Romil about the reason why she is tolerating Adhik’s torture, Paakhi reasons it stating that, since they had hurt their families by marrying against their wishes, its her duty to save her marriage and that she will walk any distance to do so. She also adds that she doesn’t want to hurt her family anymore. Saying this, both Romil and Paakhi join hands with each other. On the other hand, Anupamaa sees an undying love in Paakhi’s eyes for her husband Adhik.
