Anupamaa Written Update 20 August, 2023: Anupamaa witnesses Adhik SLAPPING Paakhi, vows to teach him a lesson

After Anupamaa sees Adhik slapping Paakhi in their bedroom, she calls up Anuj and they both vow to teach Adhik a lesson

The day starts off with Romil patting himself on his back for ‘creating’ perfect timing by calling Anupamaa to see the fight between Adhik and Paakhi. Seeing Paakhi’s helpless condition, Anupamaa is totally shocked. Seeing her plight, Anupamaa holds her hands and takes her away from there. Seeing this, Romil is extremely happy and wonders how will Anupamaa react at the wrong doing of her son-in-law and will she react to that in the same manner that she had schooled him (Romil) for his wrongs. After that, when he sees Adhik in an extremely tensed up situation, he (Romil) starts whistling sarcastically.

Anupama, then, brings Paakhi to her room and hugs her tight and tells her to open her heart about the ill treatment meted out to her by her husband Adhik. Hearing this, Paakhi tells Anupama to brush it off as it was a petty trivial matter between a husband and wife. Hearing this, Anupamaa is shocked and tells Paakhi that not to be like her in her previous initial days of marriage- the submissive types.

On the other hand, Barkhaa comes and meets her brother Adhik. In no time, she starts shouting at him for physically abusing Paakhi. And when he tries to defend himself and his action (of slapping Paakhi), this triggers and angers Barkhaa very much. Even though she is extremely angry with Adhik about the whole slapping episode, she, also tells him that, she is now fearing that, not just Anupamaa, but also Anuj will not spare him. She also mentions about the unpredictable anger of Vanraj Shah, whose closeness to his daughter Paakhi is known by everyone.

On the other hand, when Anupamaa gets to know about the whole slapping incident, she immediately calls up her husband Anuj Kapadia and also Vanraj Shah. Speaking of Vanraj Shah, after receiving Anupamaa’s calls, he tells to baa and Babuji about the phone call by Anupamaa. Hearing this, everyone is the Shah family become extremely tensed up as they don’t know the reason why Anupamaa had called them to the Kapadia House. From the tonality and the seriousness of Anupamaa’s conversation on the phone, Baa and Vanraj Shah could make out that there is definitely some kind of trouble that is brewing which Anupamaa wants them to know and also wants to discuss with them.
