Anupamaa: Vijyendra tries to kidnap Anupama and Dimple

Vijyendra’s wife and daughter try to reason with him.

Baa, Pakhi and Hasmukh find themselves having to field a number of questions about what Anupama is doing. Vanraj thinks that if Anupama is not stopped, the Shahs will have a hard time.

Viyendra Mehta becomes furious with his son for not fixing the generator, after Anupama turns off their power. As Manan remarks that he should have killed the trio that day, his mother scolds him and his sister asks him to confess to his crimes in court. Manan raises his hand against his sister in rage, and his father stops him.

Vijyendra says Manan did a mistake and he will not go to jail for it, and orders his wife and daughter to go prepare for the wedding. Even Vijyendra’s domestic worker quits, saying that she stands with Anupama, leaving the former frustrated.

Anuj worries about Anupama’s safety after doing a thorough background check on Vijyendra Mehta. Anuj realises that Vijyendra is not only powerful and has strong connections, but was also greedy and a crook. Barkha and Ankush comforts Anuj, saying that there are a lot of people there so Anupama might be safe there. Anuj decides to go to the protest site.

At the protest site, Vijyendra tries to trouble the protestors by bursting crackers. The protestors give a befitting reply to the Mehtas by playing musical instruments in front of the house. The Mehtas plan to do something to stop Anupama before morning.

As Anupama and Dimple go to the bathroom, Vijyendra and Manan corner them and try to kidnap the two. As they start to harass the duo, they are shocked to see Anupama and Dimple standing by, and realise that they had kidnapped Vijyendra’s wife and daughter, as it was dark.

Manan breaks down as he realises the seriousness of his actions, while Vijyendra’s wife declares that her husband is dead to her. The police arrive to arrest the father-son duo.
