Anupamaa: Rupali Ganguly has an elephant named after her – here’s how she reacted to the news

Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa continues to be one of the most loved shows not only in India but even outside of it. The most recent example of that is how an elephant has been named after her. Rupali reacted to the news recently.

In fact, the Anupamaa actress got a text in which she realized about the orphan elephant. An Indian named Bhavna adopted the elephant in Kenya and named it Mayan, after Anupamaa’s character.

“There are times when you miss messages. Then I realized that Bhavna had sent me a message. It read that she has adopted an orphan elephant in Kenya on my name. That elephant is named Mayan. I was so overwhelmed. I was always I have the spirit of the tiger, the soul of an elephant and I’m as loyal as a dog. So, that is me,” Rupali told paparazzo Viral Bhayani.

Rupali recently celebrated her birthday on the sets of Anupamaa. The actress then spoke about how she still gets excited about birthdays. She has a lot of fun and loves birthdays.
