Anupamaa 18 June Update: Dimpy takes a SOLID stand for Maaya and her behaviour at the press conference, Anuj apologies to Anupamaa

Will Anupamaa be able to do justice to everyone around her is what remains to be seen

The day starts off with Anupamaa picking up a paper from a roadside vendor and making a rocket out of it, in order to fuel up her ambitions of going to America. She tells herself that, unlike last time when she compromised on her American dreams, this time round, she will not let any roadblock hamper her from realising her dream of going to America.

Back home at the Shah House, it’s the entire Shah family versus Dimpy alone. Starting with Toshu, he begins to taunt Dimpy for all the mess. Not the one to take anything lying down, Dimpy gives it back to Toshu. After Toshu, its Paakhi versus Dimpy. And when Dimpy goes out of control with her tongue, Vanraj loses his calm and tells his son Samar to keep his wife Dimpy under control.

Meanwhile, Anupamaa lands up meeting Anuj on the road. Thereafter starts a total recall of all the incidents between Anuj and Anupamaa, wherein the former folds his hands before the latter and sincerely asks for forgiveness for having preferred Maaya over Anupamaa and also chhoti Anu, because of the-then prevailing situations. Anupamaa tells Anuj that, because Maaya is mentally sick, she doesn’t require a mental asylum, but she requires him (Anuj), both mentally and emotionally.

Back home, at the ‘Shah House’, Paakhi gets a video of Maaya’s antics and havoc drama that she had created at Anupamaa’s press conference. Seeing that, everyone except Dimpy starts blaming Maaya for everything. Dimpy reasons out Maaya’s behaviour as her mental illness and that, it should not be taken lightly or with anger. She also adds that, Maaya really requires some kind of emotional support because she is mentally ill. Hearing this, everyone at the Shah House are really shocked to see Dimpy standing up for Maaya and also supporting her.
