Anupama Parmeswaran addressed Prakash Raj as sir, forgetting to do the same to lead actor of Vakeel Saab Pawan Kalyan.
Actress Anupama Parmeswaran was on the receiving end of trolls after Pawan Kalyan fans took offense that she addressed Prakash Raj as sir but omitted it for the Telugu star, in her tweet appreciating Vakeel Saab.
After watching the Pawan Kalyan film on Amazon Prime Video, Anupama tweeted on Saturday, “Must say, powerful performances backed by a strong message! @PawanKalyan breaks barriers and makes the story stand out with the 3 leading ladies #nivetha #ananya #anjali. @prakashraaj sir, film is incomplete without you.”
Fans of the Telugu star, who have made it a habit of sorts to jump to his defence, trooped to Anupama’s social media page with comments about “disrespecting” Pawan Kalyan. “Hello parameshwara...be in ur limits....Pawan sir is not Younger than U give respect…(sic),” read one comment from an user named Ravi Janasena Nayak.
The Malayali actress, however, apologised in the same thread. “So sorry guys... just now I realised @PawanKalyan gaaaru with all respect and love,” she tweeted.
Here’s her tweet:
