Anupam Kher thanks Nayanthara and says he loved being part of Tamil horror flick Connect

The makers had expressed the excitement of having worked with the Bollywood actor recently

A couple of days ago, the makers of horror flick, Connect had officially welcomed Anupam Kher on board by releasing a poster from the movie featuring him. He has now taken to Twitter to thank Nayanthara, who plays the female lead in the project. The Bollywood veteran also said that he loved being part of the movie and working with a talented team.

His tweet read, "My 522nd film is a Tamil film! Thank you dearest #Nayanthara #VigneshShivan @ashwin_saravanan and everybody at the @Rowdy_Pictures for your love and appreciation. I loved being part of the film #Connect and working with such a talented team. See you in the theatres! Jai Ho!! (sic)."

The first look and second look posters featuring Nayanthara and Haniya Nafisa respectively were unveiled earlier. Connect has been directed by Ashwin Saravanan and produced by Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures. In his tweet, Anupam had also posted a picture featuring him, Ashwin and Vignesh. An elated Ashwin replied to Anupam with a tweet, "The pleasure is all ours sir. You are a master at what you do (sic)".

Connect has another veteran actor Sathyaraj, too playing a pivotal role in it. Prithvi Chandrasekar has composed music for the film which has editing by Richard Kevin and cinematography by Manikantan Krishnamachary.

With Anupam Kher's tweet going viral, movie lovers are relieved over the fact that the spooky thriller will have a theatrical release. The makers are yet to come up with an update on the release date, though.

Meanwhile, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal which also brings Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara together, is expected to be a theatrical release in December.
