Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, who will soon be seen in The Vaccine War, pens a note for those affected by torrential rains in North India.

Parts of North India, nowadays, is battling severe torrential rains combined with floods. Several people have lost their lives and livelihood. While the Central government is working day and night to ensure people of the country keep safe and sound, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has too joined the movement and extended his prayers to those affected by this natural calamity.
In an Instagram Story today, the reputed 68-year-old actor said, “The heart-wrenching havoc caused by the rains in different parts of the country, especially in Himachal Pradesh, is terrifying as well as worrying. Not only have innocent lives been lost, but government and private property worth crores have also suffered heavy losses. My sympathies and prayers to all!”
In the note, Anupam Kher also emphasized on the importance of protecting the Nature. “For the past several years, I have been warning that if we continue to play with nature, we will have to pay a heavy compensation for it. Greed must have an end somewhere,” wrote Kher in Hindi.
He even dropped an inspirational message on the development. He urged citizens of India to stop running after petty issues in life and instead lay their focus on much greater missions to be achieved.
Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has often been very vocal about his views on countless issues existing in society. Earlier, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in India, he even urged citizens of the country to get fully vaccinated in the hope to prevent the deaths caused by the pandemic.
Next, he will be in a drama film, The Vaccine War. The movie will be based on India's journey to develop the COVID-19 vaccine amid the pandemic and the impact it had globally. The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and is slated to be released theatrically on August 15, 2023.
Later, the Bollywood actor is all set to essay the role of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore in his upcoming project. This will also be Kher's 538th project in his career.
