Anupam Kher has garnered appreciation for his performance in The Signature. The actor played the role of Arvind Pathak in Gajendra Ahire's movie.

Anupam Kher's latest film The Signature got a positive reception upon its release. The film, directed by Gajendra Ahire, had its OTT premiere on October 4 on ZEE5 (and OTTplay Premium). In this film, the veteran actor played the role of Arvind Pathak, who struggles to fund money for his wife Madhu's medical treatment. After being appreciated for his performance in The Signature, Anupam Kher recently expressed gratitude to everyone.

Anupam Kher penned a note on his official X handle. The senior actor shared a video of the glowing reviews his film The Signature has received. Kher mentioned that he is deeply 'humbled by the love' his movie has got from critics and audiences.

"Personally it has been a windfall of great appreciation for my performance. Apart from my hard work it is the theme of love and the fear losing someone dear that is making a connect. A big THANK YOU to ALL. Please watch it on @zee5. Jai Ho! (sic)," his tweet further read.

In The Signature, Anupam Kher has shared screen space with Neena Kulkarni, Manoj Joshi, Ranvir Shorey, and Mahima Chaudhry. The movie's story revolves around an elderly man Arvind who goes through emotional and financial turmoil after his wife becomes critically ill.

How Anupam Kher reacted to The Signature's story

Meanwhile, in conversation with OTTplay, Gajendra Ahire revealed how Anupam Kher reacted after hearing The Signature's story. "When I narrated the story to Anupam Kher ji, he listened to it very carefully. Sunte sunte kaan laal hogaye the (his ears turned red) and he said 'I am doing this film, please narrate further'. Once I narrated the script, Anupam ji got involved and he became a producer of the film," he revealed.
