Even after more than three decades in the industry, Anupam Kher is showing no signs of slowing down. The actor has more than a few projects in his kitty at the moment and recently announced his latest film, titled Kaagaz 2.
Taking to his official Instagram handle, the actor shared a video of himself, which saw him holding a clapboard with the film’s name. In the clip, Kher announced that he would be collaborating with Satish Kaushik production banner for the film. Announcing that the film would mark his 526th project, Kher thanked fans for their support and added “Let’s celebrate life, let’s celebrate cinema”. In the post’s caption, the actor had a message for people coming from ‘small towns’. He said that if they worked hard and with full honesty, no force in the world could stop them.

The upcoming film seems to be the sequel to the 2021 film Kaagaz starring Pankaj Tripathi, which Kaushik had helmed. In the video, Kher also mentioned that Kaagaz 2 will be helmed by Malayalam director V.K Prakash.
Meanwhile Kher, who was last seen in The Kashmir Files, is currently working on a host of projects. The actor will share the screen with Parineeti Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani in the Sooraj R. Barjatya directorial, Uunchai.
The actor will also be seen in The Signature, which marks his 525th project. Kher had sought help from fans to finalise the title of the same and announced the film last month. The film also features Mahima Chaudhry, Ranvir Shorey, and Neena Kulkarni in pivotal roles and is directed by Gajendra Ahire. Kher is also working on the film Nautanki, which has Kaushik at the helm. The actor will reportedly also be a part of Vidyut Jammwal’s upcoming spy thriller IB71.
