Anup Jalota urges Salman Khan to apologise to Bishnoi community 'for peace and safety'

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi mentioned it earlier that he wants to kill Salman Khan and take revenge from him for poaching a blackbuck.

Salman Khan has been receiving multiple death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after Baba Siddique's shocking murder case. According to the reports and a Facebook post shared by Lawrence Bishnoi gang, due to Siddique's closeness with the actor, he faced death. Now, singer Anup Jalota has requested the actor to go and apologise to the Bishnoi community and end his fued with the gangster.

What did Anup Jalota say?

Even before Baba Siddique's death, Salman Khan has got several threats agaist his life from the Bishnoi gang. A few months ago, there was also shooting incident outside his residence after which the actor's security was beefed up. Now, in an interview with ABP News, Anup said, “I just want to say that it is not the time to get into who killed and who didn’t.... One should realise that Salman’s close friend Baba Siddique was allegedly killed because of the same. Now, the focus should be on solving the conflict."

“I have a small request for Salman to go to the temple and apologise to ensure his safety and protect his family and close friends. I am sure they will accept his apology. Salman should go and then lead a safe life... It is not the time to complicate the matter. Whether he killed or not, Salman should apologise. No one will get anything by getting stuck into the feud,” he added.

Back in 1998, Salman Khan's blackbuck poaching case took place during the filming of Hum Saath-Saath Hain in Rajasthan. It irked the Bishnoi community, which reveres the animal. The actor was the main accused in the case and was convicted in 2018. From the past few years, Lawrence Bishnoi has threatened to kill the superstar post his court appearance in Jodhpur in 2018. While the actor's security has always been tight, it was recently beefed up post Baba Siddique's murder case.
