Expectations are high for the Onam season, which begins in September, after a fantastic year filled with high hopes and unexpected hits for Malayalam cinema. The producers of Antony Varghese's upcoming film have confirmed that it will be released in theatres during the Onam season. The question of whether it will conflict with Tovino Thomas's highly anticipated project, Identity, in 2024, has left fans of the actors perplexed.

RDX: Robert Dony Xavier had released in Onam 2023
It is the seventh production from Weekend Blockbusters following the enormous success of RDX. The movie's title has not been revealed yet. The decision by the film's makers to have an Onam theatrical release appears to be an attempt to draw viewers to large screens and capitalise on their high hopes for the production's RDX, which proved to be a big hit during the same holiday season the previous year despite being released alongside films starring big stars.

For the film, a 100-foot boat was constructed on the set at Kureepuzha in Kollam. Recently, a 20-foot shark was added to the list of props for the movie. The nearly seventy days of filming were mostly spent at sea.

The film, which is a revenge action drama with a coastal setting, is anticipated to be a major turning point in Pepe's career. It centres on a devoted bunch of individuals who toil away in the sea for days at a time. Sources state that the movie will include some suspenseful moments with riveting action sequences, in addition to a realistic portrayal of the coastal community's residents.
Anthony Varghese portrays a young hero who is a strong thinker, a canoeist with a resilient paddle, and full of youthful exuberance. A debutante will play the lead female role. Gautami Nair has another significant role in this movie. Shabeer Kallarakkal and Kannada actor Raj B Shetty are also featured prominently in this film.
In addition to Sarath Sabha, other notable actors in this film include Nandu, Siraj, Jaya Kurup, Abha M Raphael, and Fauzia Mariam Antony. Filming is underway in Varkala, Kollam, Kadinamkulam, Anchuthengu, and Rameswaram.
