Ante Sundaraniki, which was released in theatres on June 10, stars Nani, Nazriya, Naresh, Rohini, Harshavardhan, Nadiya and Azhagam Perumal in prominent roles.
Ante Sundaraniki, starring Nani and Nazriya Fahadh, has arrived on Netflix. Many people, including celebrities, have praised the film since it dropped on the OTT giant. Raashii Khanna is the latest to appreciate the film. She posted on Instagram, "Ante Sundaraniki is a gem. Nani and Nazriya Fahadh and the entire cast are all heart. Vivek Athreya, thank you for writing and executing such stories."
Vivek Sagar is the music director of Ante Sundaraniki, which was produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Despite the positive reviews, Ante Sundaraniki, directed by Vivek Athreya, underperformed at the theatres.
The film marked Nazriya's debut in Telugu. In an interview with a leading English daily, she said, the film was special for many reasons. She added she found a script she could not say no to. "When I like a script, I don’t pay much attention to which language it belongs to. If it excites me enough, I don’t mind learning a new language. I loved the script of Ante. I was troubled about not knowing Telugu, yes, but I experienced this when I made my debut in Tamil as well."
On his part, Nani said, the film is much more than interfaith romance. “A lot of what we have attempted to address in the film is subtle but effective. We speak of empowerment, religion, and more. Throughout the film, there are many other sensible ideas discussed too!"
Nani, further, said, "Ante Sundaraniki was not only about Leela and Sundar, with other characters getting important roles to play as well. The supporting cast in the film; Rohini, Nadhiya, Azhagam Perumal, Harsha Vardhan, and Naresh, have all given fantastic performances."
Nani will be next seen in the action entertainer Dasara, co-starring Keerthy Suresh. The shooting of the film is in progress.
