Chaitanya Rao, the 30 Weds 21 actor who made a mark in Telugu cinema with his appearances in films like Mukhachitram, Thimmarusu, A Journey to Kasi, will be seen in a thriller comedy titled Annapurna Photo Studio next. Lavannya Sahukara plays the female lead in the film written and directed by Chendu Muddu. Vijay Deverakonda unveiled the film’s trailer this morning.

Much like the touring talkies announcement across villages in the previous decades, a voiceover introduces you to the various dimensions of the film. As the title suggests, the film revolves around a struggling photographer and the desperation to impress his lady love. The comedy sequences between the protagonist and his bunch of friends are quite hilarious.

The catchy music score, songs are an added attraction for the viewer. The focus soon shifts to a crime subplot, another girl enters the protagonist’s life and there’s miscommunication between the lead pair. Meanwhile, an astrologer suggests how the photographer’s life is in danger. The film is packed with interesting twists and action episodes.

The glimpse ends on a high where the friend says he’s ‘too good’ for his romantic interest, taking a dig at his age. Yash Rangineni, Vasu Inturi,Uttara Reddy, Mihirah, Viva Raghav, Lalith Aditya, Krishna Mohan, Ramana and Shiva play other key roles in the film. The film is bankrolled by Yash Rangineni under Big Ben Cinemas. Prince Henry is the music director.

Pankaj Tottada is the cinematographer of the film while D Venkata Prabhu is the editor. Several promos of Annapurna Photo Studio and the songs have made an impression on audiences already. ETV Win has acquired its post theatrical streaming rights and leading music label T Series has the audio rights. The film is releasing in theatres on July 21.
