The song from the latest flick is sung by late singer SP Balasubrahmanyam
Annaatthe Annaatthe song
Get groovy and mimic the steps of Thalaiva as you dance to the tunes of Annaatthe Annaatthe. The makers of Rajinikanth's family drama has dropped the video song on YouTube. The song holds a special place in the hearts of millions of fans as they get to see a glimpse of the actor having a grandeur welcome that he always receives. This was unfortunately also the last performance of SP Balasubrahmanyam.
The video song opens with Rajnikanth's signature style of draping the dhoti. It follows with some eye-catching dance steps of Thalaiva and also shares glimpses of the movie. The song sings praises of him as he appears to be a do-gooder, helping villagers and working towards their upliftment.

Earlier last month, the makers had released the lyrical song and actor Rajinikanth tweeted an emotional note remembering SPB. He wrote: “For 45 years, SPB’s voice gave life to my characters. Not in my wildest dreams did I think that the song he sang for Annaatthe would be his last. My dear SPB lives on through his voice (sic).”
The peppy number is written by Viveka and the music is by D Imman. The family entertainer, which is currently running in theatres, is directed by Siva and produced by Sun Pictures. The film has a stellar cast that includes Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori.
