Annaatthe: Much awaited Rajinikanth starrer gets U/A certificate

Makers of the much-awaited film Annaatthe, which stars the superstar Rajinikanth and lady superstar Nayanthara, took to social media today to announce that it has been granted the U/A censor certificate. We can now catch the latest movie on big screens along with our family and friends.

The makers of the highly anticipated movie, Sun Pictures took to social media to put up the latest update and captioned it with a smashing message, “Indha Deepavali summa saravedi dhan.” (This Deepavali is in for some massive fire-crackers)

Talking about the Telugu version of Annaatthe, the upcoming superstar entertainer has been titled Peddanna where the Telugu version’s promo poster saw him seated in a Royal Enfield bike while yielding a massive sword. Makers of the movie also sold the Tamil and Telugu theatrical rights to Asian Cinemas for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On the other hand, the Tamil and Telugu distribution rights for the movie across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana was acquired by Narayandas K Narang and Daggubati Suresh Babu.

Helmed by Siruthai Siva, the upcoming thalaivar starrer also has Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Prakash Raj, Khushbu Sundar, Jaggu Bhai, Soori and Sathish among others in pivotal roles.

Talking about the soundtrack of Annaatthe, the upcoming entertainer is a musical treat by D Imman. The first single titled Annaatthe Annaatthe was earlier released which featured the upbeat vocals of the late legendary singer SP Balasubramanyam. It was followed by a soothing track, Saaraa Kaattrae with the lilting vocals of Shreya Ghoshal and Sid Sriram.

Annaatthe is all set to hit the big screens on November 4. Its release on the digital platform is yet to be announced officially.
