Actress Meena, today, penned a heartfelt note for her husband Vidyasagar, who passed away recently, due to lung ailment. In an Instagram post, the Annaatthe actress called Vidyasagar a beautiful blessing that was taken away too soon. She also thanked everyone for their love and prayers. She wrote, "You were our beautiful blessing but taken away from us too soon. Forever in our (my) hearts. My family and I would like to thank the millions of good hearts around the world for sending love and prayers. We definitely need them. Very grateful to have friends and family who shower us with love and care and support. We feel the love (sic).”

Actress Meena, today, penned a heartfelt note for her husband Vidyasagar, who passed away recently, due to lung ailment. We feel the love (sic).” Vidyasagar had been battling lung-related complications and was undergoing treatment for the same at a private hospital in Chennai. But he succumbed to the infection and breathed his last on June 25. While some reports claimed that he had lost his life to Covid, some stated that he had been suffering from a lung ailment, which deteriorated after he contracted Covid. Meena had then taken to her social media page to urge everyone to not spread false information. "I am deeply saddened by the loss of my loving husband Vidya Sagar. I sincerely request all media to respect our privacy and sympathise this situation. Please stop further broadcast of any false information on this matter. During these difficult times, I want to express my gratitude to all those good hearts who helped and stood with our family. I would like to thank all the Medical Team who tried their best, our Chief Minister, Health Minister, Radhakrishnan IAS, Colleagues, Friends, Family, Media & My loving fans for sending love and prayers," she added. (sic) " Many celebrities had paid their last respects to Meena's husband, which included Superstar Rajinikanth, Sarath Kumar, Khushbu Sundar, Venkatesh Daggubati, Sneha and Prabhu Deva. Rajinikanth visited the grieving family and spent some time consoling them.
