Ankush hints at his next venture after Mirza

Ankush Hazra debuted as a producer with Mirza: Part 1–Joker. The film which also features Kaushik Ganguly, Oindrila Sen, and others, was released on Eid.

Ankush Hazra debuted as a producer with Mirza: Part 1–Joker. The film which also features Kaushik Ganguly, Oindrila Sen, and others, was released on Eid. The film fared well at the box office and completed 50 days in the cinema halls. Now, Ankush has started planning his next film. He asked his fans on social media about which film would please the audience. Is it an action film like Mirza or a romantic comedy, family entertainment, or drama? Ankush posted his photo on social media and wrote ‘The holiday after Mirza is over. Plans for the next project have started. Again getting ready for a new battle.’ 

After Mirza’s release, Ankush wrote on social media, “Mirza is a mass commercial film by a non-superstar. It is a genre tagged by people.” He reportedly faced many obstacles in his first production. The work was stalled for some time. But Ankush promised his fans that Mirza would be made. He kept his word and the film was released on April 11. Along with Ankush. Oindrila, and Kaushik, Rishi Koushik, Shoaib Kabir were also in the film, and their works were praised. 

Ankush announced the news of the film completing fifty days and wrote ‘When your first produced film completes fifty days completely in its strength, the joy can’t be expressed…housefull show…superb response…people’s praise and support, all these made Mirza a successful commercial Bengali film.’ 

He also wrote ‘Mirza Part 2 will have more violence, depth, twist, love, fun, entertainment, and action. See you soon.’ Previously Ankush said that he would perhaps not get the money back that he invested in Mirza: Part 1 Joker, but that would not stop the making of the sequel. So, did he start the sequel’s shooting? Or will he give some new surprise? Ankush kept mum regarding this.
