Ankush announces next film Bengal Police with Sayantan Ghosal

Ever since Ankush came back from his Europe vacation, the actor has been keeping his fans busy. After revealing Dibyendu Bhattacharya as the villain of Mirza – his upcoming gangster drama, he took to his social media handle to announce another film. On Wednesday, he promised to come up with a big announcement at 5 pm. Fans initially thought that he would announce the name of the heroine of Mirza. However, this is not the case.

A new film Bengal Police, produced by NextGen ventures and presented by Ankush Hazra Motion Pictures – the actor’s new production house, is announced on his Instagram. He has teamed up with Sayantan Ghosal, who will direct the film. Will he play the protagonist? It has not been decided yet.

Ankush posted a teaser of the film. He captioned it, “Watch Them Creating a Whole New System .. Cops will be announced soon .. till then have patience .. #BengalPolice .. Need your love and best wishes.. @ankushmotionpictures @nexgen_venture.” The teaser promises to explore the ‘biggest cop universe’ in the film.

Ankush has a number of films lined up. He will soon be seen in Anshuman Pratysh’s Ogo Bideshini in which he has paired up with Alexandra Taylor. Billed as a family dramedy, the film also features Rajnandini Paul, Manashi Sinha, and others. The shooting of Bibaho Abhijan 2 will start in November. Besides Ankush, the film also has Anirban Bhattacharya, Priyanka Sarkar, Nusrat, Rudranil Ghosh, and Sohini Sarkar. Meanwhile, the name of the heroine of Mirza has not been announced yet. Who will star in Bengal Police is also yet to be known.
