With just a few days to go for the release of Lokesh Kangaraj's Leo, excitement among fans has reached a feverish peak. The latest we hear is that the team recently screened Leo for the film's composer Anirudh Ravichander and that he was mighty excited about the same.

Anirudh's reaction to Leo
During the promotional interviews, Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed that they had screened the first half and the second half of the film, separately for Anirudh. After watching the film, the composer sent a message to Lokesh, which read, "“BLOCK O BLOCKBUSTER”. Lokesh added that he showed the film to his friends and at least 8 out of 10 people liked it.


Anirudh had recently reviewed Leo and had rated it higher than Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan and Rajinikanth's Jailer. Going by the number of emojis he used to describe the film, it looks like he liked it better than his previous two ventures.

Leo opens to packed houses
The sophomore project of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj is gearing up for release worldwide on October 19. Leo is all set to have a record opening for the Thalapathy in Kerala and Karnataka, where the first shows are all set to begin at 4am. Tickets were sold out in a record span and the hype around the film is only getting bigger by the day.


In the meantime, the first show in Tamil Nadu will begin only at 9am. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the first show will drop in theatres at 6am and 7am. In the Hindi-speaking states, the first show will start at 12.30am.

Leo to become a surefire hit, says distributors
The film has been declared a surefire hit at the box office, even before release. According to Tirupur Subramaniam, film distributor and head of Tamil Nadu's Theatre Owners Association, since Leo is releasing in almost every screen in the state, the film is said to have a record opening.
