Within just one week of the release, Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has earned over Rs 600 crores across theatres globally. The movie entails the journey of a man named Ranvijay (played by Ranbir Kapoor) and his desire to safeguard his father’s lavish business. On his journey, Ranvijay is compelled to cheat on his wife Gitanjali with a rival businessman's connection Zoya. Gitanjali’s role is played by actress Rashmika Mandanna, while Zoya’s character is essayed by actress Triptii Dimri.
Triptii Dimri clarifies there was no awkwardness with Rashmika Mandanna ever
In an interview with journalist Puja Talwar, Triptii praised Rashmika for making her feel welcomed on the set of the movie. Triptii said, "She is the sweetest, sweetest person on set. She made me feel welcomed and there was no awkwardness. Usually, when there are two heroines in the film, there is always that energy... There was nothing, she was just so brilliant. She came to me and she hugged me and she was like come sit with us. She could also see that I was awkward a little (laughs), but she just made me feel welcomed. I think that is such a beautiful quality to have."
Nowadays, Triptii is being called the ‘National Crush of India’ after her kissing scene with Ranbir Kapoor from Animal went viral online. Hearing this, Triptii just blushed and said nothing in response.

On the eighth day since its debut, 'Animal,' featuring Ranbir Kapoor, raked in a noteworthy Rs 23.34 crore in India. This propelled its cumulative earnings to Rs 362.11 crore, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk. The film's global box office performance has surpassed Rs 600 crores.

According to official data, Animal is currently the fourth-biggest Hindi movie of the year, behind Gadar 2, Pathaan, and Jawan. It has now overtaken Sanju to become Ranbir’s biggest-ever hit.
