Ever since the trailer for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal was released, it has become a hot topic of conversation, thanks to the stellar and unexpected performance by Ranbir Kapoor. Even though many knew that the film ‘Animal’ is a dark film that brings to the fore an extremely sensitive relationship between a father and son, little did anyone expect Ranbir to unleash the ‘animal’ in him with such ethos and confidence. More such learnings were revealed by the film’s leading lady, Rashmika Mandanna, during a press meet for the film.

Speaking at the event, Rashmika pulled Ranbir’s legs by behaving as if she were confused about whether she should call him 'Ranbir' or 'Ranbir sir'. She then revealed that before she started working with Ranbir, she had the attitude of, ‘Okay, we are ready; let's roll (the cameras)’. She revealed that Ranbir is someone who insists on doing one-on-one rehearsals before the cameras start rolling. She added that she then realised the natural and beautiful performance that comes about with co-actors, which builds chemistry and rapport.
