At a press meet held this evening, Ranbir Kapoor elaborated on why he loves those who speak Telugu. He said, “Andariki Namaskaram! Whenever I come here for film promotions, I always love to come to Hyderabad. I remember the time when Sonam (Kapoor; actor) and I came to the city for ‘Saawariya’ film promotions in 2007. The first fan photo and autograph we gave was in Hyderabad.”
“And with Animal’s release around the corner, I am happy to see the excitement of city people towards the film. I am happy to see the sale of advance tickets being on the rise here. I can’t see this rise in sales anywhere else. So, thank you all so much. For these reasons, I really want to be the adopted son of Telugu states. So, please accept me in whatever way possible,” Ranbir Kapoor wrapped up.
