Today was the day when all of Ranbir Kapoor’s fans were super excited and were eagerly waiting for it. They had way ‘two’ many reasons to be happy. The first and foremost reason was that today is the birthday of Ranbir Kapoor. The birthday boy has now turned 41 years. And the second reason for everyone to be happy was that, it was today when the much-awaited teaser of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ got released.

Parineeti Chopra in 'Animal'?

Besides Ranbir Kapoor, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. There is also the veteran actor Anil Kapoor, who will be seen in the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s father in ‘Animal’, a film whose tagline states ‘Experience a father son bond carved in blood’. Did you know that much before the gorgeous Rashmika Mandanna came on board as the film’s leading lady, it was Parineeti Chopra who had been signed as the film’s heroine. There was also a film’s teaser that got released, which had Parineeti Chopra’s name in the list of credits along with Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor.

Parineeti Chopra opts out of 'Animal'

After a few days, there came a news about Parineeti Chopra opting out of the project. Post that, there were many news reports which stated the reasons for Parineeti Chopra to opt out of the film. And many reports pointed out the rumoured reason that she had chosen Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Chamkeela’, which had led to a date clash. Post that, Parineeti Chopra chose Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Chamkeela’ over the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’.

Starcast of 'Animal'

As for ‘Animal’ whose teaser was released today, it has been getting immense love and appreciation from everyone alike. As for the star cast, besides Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, the film also stars Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor and Suresh Oberoi. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
