Animal box office collection Day 8 — Ranbir Kapoor's film continues its dream run; earns over Rs 350 crore

Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, has turned out to be a hit, earning over Rs 350 crore at the box office.

There's no stopping Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film Animal! Despite polarising reactions, the movie is doing extremely well at the box office. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, Animal has emerged as one of the highest-grossing films of this year. It has shattered Kabir Singh's lifetime box office record. On day 8 at the box office, Animal managed to mint over Rs 350 crore.

Well, Animal has maintained its pace at the box office. The film, also featuring Rashmika Mandanna, entered the Rs 300 crore club within a week of its theatrical release. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial collected Rs 23.50 crore on day 8. This brings the total BO collection of Animal to Rs 361.08 crore.

Animal worldwide box office collection

In the first week of its release, Animal minted Rs 563 crore at the worldwide box office. The film is all set to cross the Rs 600 mark at the ticket window as well. Needless to say, the Ranbir-Rashmika starrer has managed to set new records overseas as well. With that, Animal will beat Sanju to become Ranbir's highest-grossing movie of all time.

Ranbir Kapoor played the role of Ranvijay Singh in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film. Although the film has received polarising, Kapoor has been lauded for his performance in the film. Besides Ranbir, it is Triptii Dimri who has left everyone impressed with her performance in Animal. The actress, best known for Qala, has become the 'national crush'.

Sandeep's previous films

Meanwhile, Sandeep's previous films were Kabir Singh and Arjun Reddy. Both movies were called out for toxic masculinity and misogyny. His latest release, Animal, has been called out for the same reason. While Arjun Reddy featured Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey, the film's Hindi version starred Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles.
