Siddhant Karnick, recently seen in Animal, has opened up about Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna's 'bra-strap scene' in the film.
Siddhant Karnick is currently riding high on the success of Animal. The actor played the role of Ranbir Kapoor's brother-in-law and Saloni Batra's husband in the film. While the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film is a box office hit, the movie has also received a lot of criticism. Animal has been called out for toxic masculinity and misogyny. Now, in an interview, Siddhant has come out in defense of Ranbir and Rashmika Mandanna's bra-strap scene in the movie.

In an interview with Bollywood Now, Siddhant Karnick said, "I understood the kinkiness Ranbir’s character was trying to show with the bra strap." The actor further mentioned there are terms called 'masochism' and 'sadism', which are used in s**ual orientation. Karnick believes it showed that Rashmika's character could 'masochist'. "She was agreeable to that kind of act," he added.
The actor added that as an audience, people will feel what is happening on the screen is wrong. However, "But, in cinema, it’s between those two characters and it is right for them. So why are we judging that? They are telling us about the characters and what the characters like, it is up to them," said Siddhant.

Meanwhile, Siddhant Karnick, who had three releases this year, has no particular project lined up. The actor only has a small role in Afghan Snow, which will premiere on Netflix. In an interview with News18, the actor admitted that he has no 'concrete' work amid the humongous success of his film Animal. This year, Siddhant was seen in Adipurush, Made In Heaven 2, and Sandeep's film, Animal.

As far as Animal is concerned, the film has become a blockbuster hit of the year. The film has surpassed the ₹800 crore mark at the worldwide box office. It also featured Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Shakti Kapoor. The film clashed with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur at the ticket window.
