The much-anticipated chick-flick Thank You For Coming is causing quite a stir since its announcement. Bhumi Pednekar, Kusha Kapila, Shehnaaz Gill, Shibani Bedi, Dolly Singh and the veteran actor Anil Kapoor are among the cast members of the movie. Prior to its release, the movie had its world premiere at the esteemed Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), where viewers responded favorably. Social media buzz is still at an all-time high in the meanwhile.

While the film awaits its India release, Anil Kapoor and Jeetendra came together to promote the film in a quirky way. Anil worries that because Thank You For Coming is also made by a woman, men won't go to see the movie because it will be criticized for being a women-led film that would discuss sex and orgasm. Then Jeetendra explains to him that as their daughters (Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor) are bold so they will make bole content and there will always be female moviegoers in the theaters, even if men do not come to watch such a worthwhile subject on the big screen. After realizing this, Anil expresses his pride in his daughter Rhea for producing such a bold movie.
Sharing the video on his social media account, Anil Kapoor wrote: "As Dads and Viewers, ‘Thank You’ for this film. We are proud of you.
We’re coming to Rise, Rebel, & Repeat on October 6th in theaters near you."
Karan Boolani, Rhea Kapoor's husband, will make his directorial debut with the eagerly anticipated Thank You For Coming. Along with Anil Kapoor, Karan Kundra, and Dolly Ahluwalia, the movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi in leading roles. The movie, which is co-produced by Rhea and Ekta Kapoor, is receiving a lot of attention.
On October 6, Thank You For Coming will be released through the joint efforts of Anil Kapoor Film Communication Network Pvt. Ltd. and Balaji Telefilms Limited.
