During an Instagram live, Angelica Ross shared about the trans-phobic experience and discrimination she faced from Emma Roberts while they were filming American Horror Story: 1984. Ross spoke about the discrimination she experienced from Emma, recounting an incident where a person named John referred to both of them as ladies, and Emma corrected him by asking if he meant lady.

Ross admitted to keeping quiet about the incident due to fear of repercussions. She also noted that the one person who spoke out against such discrimination had faced consequences. According to Ross, Emma's comments caused a negative atmosphere on the set of American Horror Story: 1984. Following the unpleasant experience, Ross did not speak to Emma while on set.

"She'd be like, 'Are you okay?' and I'd be like, 'Hmm. Don't blame me. You've been playing mind games with everybody on the set," Ross explained. Emma has not yet responded to the allegations of Ross.

Angelica Ross joined the cast of American Horror Story in its ninth season and made history as the first transgender actor to secure two series regular roles. She portrayed characters such as Donna Chambers and The Chemist in subsequent seasons.

According to Ross, her contract with FX channel caused her to miss out on a role in a Marvel project. Initially, she was informed that she would be returning for Season 11 of AHS on the FX channel, but unfortunately, it did not happen. The contract was for 11 years, and due to the delay in its release, she lost the opportunity to be part of the Marvel project.

Recently, Ross also alleged that American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy avoided her and the idea of a new season with an all-black cast.
